How to Connect to an HP Printer Using a Bluetooth Adapter

Find the USB port on your HP printer. Depending on the model, the port may be on the front or back of the printer, and may be labeled 'Pictbridge' or 'Camera' instead of 'USB.'
Connect the male USB end of the Bluetooth adapter into the female USB port on your HP printer. Insert the installation disc that came with the adapter in your computer's disc drive and follow the installation directions.
Locate the 'Bluetooth' icon in the system tray at the lower-right corner of the desktop. Right-click the image and choose the 'Start Using Bluetooth' option.
Select 'Next' and type a name for your computer in the text box, such as 'Home Computer' or 'My Laptop.' Choose 'Next' again.
Click 'Skip' and enter the code '0000' in the 'Pin Code' text box. Select the 'Initiate Pairing' option so your computer will detect the Bluetooth adapter connected to the printer.
Click the option for your HP printer in the list of detected Bluetooth devices and choose 'Next.' Click 'Finish' to create the connection.
