How to Change a Canon Pixma MP160 from Color to Black

Click the orb in the lower left corner of your desktop to launch the 'Start' menu. Choose 'Devices and Printers.'
Right-click the Pixma MP160 icon in the printer listing. Select 'Printer Properties.' Click the tab labeled 'Maintenance.'
Click 'Ink Cartridge Settings' in the Maintenance window. Choose the 'Black Only' option and click 'OK.'



Open the 'Applications' directory then access the 'Utilities' section. Launch 'Print Center' from Utilities.
Double-click the Pixma MP160 icon. Choose 'Utility.' Click the printer in the list that appears then click 'Maintenance.'
Select 'Ink Cartridge Settings' in the drop-down box. Choose 'Black Only' then click 'OK.' Close any remaining dialog box windows.
