How to Set A Printer To Automatically Print On Two Sides

Find out if your printer is designed for automatic two sided printing. Also called deluxe or double sided printed. Go to your Printer Properties dialog box found under printer setup.
Use the right paper. Very thin paper will cause ink to bleed through while to thick of cause a printer jam. Paper from 16-28 lb bond is good for double sided printing. When doing heavy items such as brochures, HP Premium paper is ideal. When using paper thicker then that, automatic double sided printing is not suggested. Manual double printing can still be done.
Find your printer set up box again and select the options box.
Select the Two-sided (Duplex) Printing tab.
Go to the next row and click the automatic setting.
