  5. New Canon printer users often wonder how do I connect my Canon printer to my computer. Here we will walk you through the steps to connect your Canon printer to a computer via a wireless network. First, connect the printer to your home Wi-Fi network, and you will get the list of available networks on your printer’s LCD screen. You need to tap on the setup page in order to adjust the wireless LAN settings and then find the home network SSID. You can also locate the SSID at the bottom of your router. Once selected the SSID, you will be prompted to enter the network password. Next, go to the Windows Start menu and locate the gear icon representing Settings. Then, tap on the option for ‘labeled devices’ and select Printers and Scanners. After that, choose Add Printer and Scanner option, and after a few seconds, the names of your printer will appear on your screen. Click on your printer’s name, and your printer is now connected to the computer.
